Some sceptics claimed that the prophethood was given only to Jews and Muhammad as an Arab has no role in it. They also claimed Makkah was never known as a place visited by Abraham.
They also urge adherents of the Qur’an to produce evidence from the Bible where Muhammad was mentioned –
S7:157 Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel……
S61:6 And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: “O Children of Israel! I am the messenger of Allah to you, confirming the Torah which came before me, and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad.” …..
What the sceptics miss to peruse is that the Holy Bible was never mentioned in the Qur’an not even once.
It is impossible to find prophecy of the Qur’an to be in a book no God whom the Jews or the Christians believe in, had ever claim the book called the Holy Bible is from Him.
The other fact is that, there is also no prophet from God bringing 39 Jewish scriptures binded with 27 Christian scriptures in a book called the Holy Bible.
And the worst part is that the name Holy Bible cannot even be found anywhere in the book called the Holy Bible!
In addition, there is only the name the Gospel of Jesus but nowhere you can find the book with its full contents –
1 Corinthians 9:18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
And the weird part of the Torah, Moses wrote his own obituary –
Deuteronomy 34-5-7 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.
Nevertheless, in the Qur’an there is a shared history between Muhammad, Ismael and Abraham.
All of them were committed to establish the pilgrimage on the same blessed precinct known as Bakkata which is in an area in Makkah.
S3:96-97 The first House (of worship) appointed for men was that at Bakkata: Full of blessing and of guidance for all kinds of beings: In it (Bakkata) are Signs Manifest; (for example), the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it (Bakkata) attains security; Pilgrimage thereto is a duty men owe to Allah, those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures.
This blessed precinct Bakkata was given to Abraham to lay the foundation of a site for pilgrimage –
S22:26-27 Behold! We gave the site, to Abraham, of the (Sacred) House, (saying): “Associate not anything in worship with Me; and sanctify My House for those who compass it round, and those who stand up, bow to prostrate themselves (therein in prayer). “And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on foot and mounted on every kind of camel, lean on account of journeys through deep and distant mountain highways.
Allah commanded Abraham to make the House a center and the area encompassing it also to be a place of prayer –
S2:125 Remember We made the House a place of assembly for men and a place of safety; and take ye the station of Abraham as a place of prayer; and We covenanted with Abraham and Ismael, that they should sanctify My House for those who compass it round, or use it as a retreat, and bow to prostrate themselves (therein in prayer).
And Abraham called upon Allah by praying for the security of the city and it’s people –
S2:126 And remember Abraham said: “My Lord, make this a City of Peace, and feed its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day.” He (Allah) said: “(Yea), and such as reject Faith, for a while will I grant them their pleasure, but will soon drive them to the torment of Fire, an evil destination indeed!”
While doing his pilgrimage Abraham A.S also decided to leave some of his siblings to reside in the blessed precinct besides the Sacred House –
S14:35-40 Remember Abraham said: “O my Lord! make this city one of peace and security: and preserve me and my sons from worshipping idols. “O my Lord! they have indeed led astray many among mankind; He then who follows my ways is of me, and he that disobeys me, but Thou art indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. “O our Lord! I HAVE MADE SOME OF MY OFFSPRING TO DWELL IN A VALLEY WITHOUT CULTIVATION, BY THY SACRED HOUSE; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular prayer: so fill the hearts of some among men with love towards them, and feed them with fruits: so that they may give thanks.
And both Abraham and Ismael further make prayers for their own social and religious well-being AND SUPPLICATE THAT A LOCAL MESSENGER BE SENT TO THE AREA A MESSENGER OF THEIR OWN –
S2:128-129 “Our Lord! make of us Muslims, bowing to Thy Will, and of our progeny a people Muslim, bowing to Thy will; and show us our place for the celebration of (due) rites; and turn unto us in Mercy; for Thou art the Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. “Our Lord! send among them a Messenger of their own, who shall rehearse Thy Signs to them and instruct them in scripture and wisdom, and sanctify them: For Thou art the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”
The prayers of Abraham and Ismael were answered centuries later and to that community, then an Arab community, a messenger and a prophet was sent to the blessed precinct of Bakkata which had ancient linkage to the siblings of Abraham and Ishmael.
MUHAMMAD AND NOAH WERE NOT JEWS AS MENTIONED WITH ISMAEL BUT THEY WERE MADE PROPHETS:
S4:163 Indeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him. And we revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, the Descendants, Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David We gave the book [of Psalms].
S42:7 And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur’an that you may warn the Mother of Cities and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze.
S33:40 Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of Allah, and the Seal of the Prophets: and Allah has full knowledge of all things.
