Allah gives a simple formula for human salvation in the Quran.
S2:186 When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close to them: I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he call on Me: Let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.
S6:155 And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that ye may receive mercy.
S64:9 The Day that He assembles you for a Day of Assembly, that will be a Day of mutual loss and gain among you, and those who believe in Allah and work righteousness, He will remove from them their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, to dwell therein for ever: that will be the Supreme Achievement.
To believe in Allah is to declare our submission only to Him as did Prophet Abraham A.S, Prophet Muhammad A.S and those who follow their examples –
S2:131 When his Lord said to him, Be a Muslim, he (Abraham) said: I submit myself to the Lord of the worlds.
S16:123 So We have taught thee the inspired Message, “Follow the ways of Abraham the True in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah.”
S3:68 Without doubt, among men, the nearest of kin to Abraham, are those who follow him, as are also this Prophet and those who believe: And Allah is the Protector of those who have faith.
It is our own choice that will bring us to eternal heaven or hell. Live in this world has it justice, Allah promised us multiple rewards for our good deeds –
S6:160 He that does good shall have ten times as much to his credit: He that does evil shall only be recompensed according to his evil: no wrong shall be done unto any of them.
There will be the balancing scale or the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all as human are given with an advantage ratio 10:1 to those who do good against evil.
With the balancing scale there will be justice –
S21:47 And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection, so no soul will be treated unjustly at all. And if there is even the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. And sufficient are We as accountant.
S7:8-9 And the weighing of deeds that Day will be the truth. So those whose scales are heavy, it is they who will be the successful. And those whose scales are light, they are the ones who will lose themselves for what injustice they were doing toward Our verses.
Anyone who observed and obeyed the above and do more of righteousness than sinfulness, salvation will be his –
S16:97 Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer, We will surely cause him to live a good life and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do.
S2:62 Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans, those among them who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
