Modern science sperm is produced in the testicles, which are located outside the pelvic cavity, not between the loins and ribs.
The Arabic word quoted in the Quran is not sperm but water –
S86:6-7 He is created from a drop emitted (ma’e). Proceeding from between the backbone and the ribs.
S25:54 It is He Who has created man from water (ma’e): then has He established relationships of lineage and marriage: for thy Lord has power over all things.
If it is sperm the Arabic word is nutfatin –
S22:5 – O mankind! if ye have a doubt about the Resurrection, consider that We created you out of dust, then out of sperm (nutfatin), then out of a leech-like clot…..
S23:13 Then We placed him as a drop of sperm (nutfatan) in a place of rest, firmly fixed…
The fluid water a man drink flow all over the body and downward to the backbone and the ribs and even through the blood to the brain.
Energy is needed in ejecting or emitting when water is drunk, it travels through the body in a quick but complex process as it has many more roles than just quenching the thirst.
Thus, the Quran is narrating about fluid of water not sperm as claimed of contradiction by some ignorants!
