Dressing code in the Qur’an does not include the covering of the hairs and faces. Covering the hairs (hijab) and covering the faces (niqab) were inaccurate interpretations of the Qur’an as there is no verse Allah commanded women to cover those parts.
On the contrary, the body parts that can be exposed at any time and any place in the Quran were mentioned clearly, that of the heads and the faces –
S5:6 O ye who believe! when ye prepare for prayer, wash your faces ( وُجُوهَكُمْ ) and your hands and arms to the elbows; Rub your heads ( بِرُءُوسِكُمْ ) with water; and (wash) your feet to the ankles…..
The other evidance the covering of the hairs and faces were unnecessary as the Quran advocates decent and beautiful dressing and not horrible or obscene dressing.
S7:31 O Children of Adam! wear your beautiful dressing at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: But waste not by excess, for Allah loveth not the wasters.
The Quran at S24:31 mentioning…”THAT THEY SHOULD DRAW THEIR VEILS OVER THEIR BOSOMS” is meant to cover the bosom or the chest area of the body parts which do not include the head, hairs and the face.
But unscrupulous scholars and the Jews fabricated the prophet through the fake tafsir to cover not only the bosom but also the heads and the faces –
S4:81 And they say, “We pledge obedience.” But when they leave you, a group of them spend the night determining to do other than what you say. But Allah records what they plan by night. So leave them alone and rely upon Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.
Those who forced women to cover the hairs and faces are imposing their own rules and regulation against the message of the Qur’an –
S41:40 Indeed, those who inject deviation into Our verses are not concealed from Us. So, is he who is cast into the Fire better or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do whatever you will; indeed, He is Seeing of what you do.
The original source of covering the hairs and faces were from the Holy Bible not from the Qur’an –
TO COVER THE HEAD IS THE TEACHING FROM THE BIBLE –
1 Corinthians 11:5-6 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
TO COVER THE HEAD AND THE FACE IS FROM THE BIBLE –
Genesis 38:14-15 And she put her widow’s garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife. WHEN JUDAH SAW HER, HE THOUGHT HER TO BE A HARLOT; BECAUSE SHE HAD COVERED HER FACE.
Genesis 24:65 For she had said unto the servant, what man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, it is my master. THEREFORE SHE TOOK THE VAIL, AND COVERED HERSELF.
S7:26 O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember.
